Sunny days in the park

6 Jun

Yesterday Mr. notsoChubby and I had the most wonderful BBQ outside in the park.   The great thing is the park is quite practically in our back yard so all we have to do is walk there.  Of course I say walk in such a simple way because I want to believe it’s such a simple thing.  The truth is it’s probably about 1/2 miles walk there and I’m more tired that I really should be and/or want to be.  But we walk there and that’s what really counts.

We had burgers mixed with jalapeno and cheese (store bought!  We’re not that clever) some potatoes (pre-boiled or else we wouldn’t be eating for AGES) peppers and onions.   I just love it when this green, rainy and cold  country gets sunshine.   Makes me want to get out and about as much as possible.  It’s amazing how low your standards go after getting used to something.   In the past if it was below 70F I wouldn’t even THINK about hitting the great outdoors.  But now 70F hits and it’s like RUN FOR THE HILLS!  Makes you feel appreciative it though eh?

Exactly – 70 degrees here and you just want to rip all your clothes off and get some vitamin D in. But fortunately we’re usually too reserved to go all the way with that plan.

Woh! Scotland must be more exciting than Ireland. Or do you refer to yourself?!

Hahaha! Oh goodness no not me!! Just we live in a part of scotland that isn’t the classiest. In America we would describe it as white trash. haha
